In most television quiz shows, contestants try to answer questions in order to beat one another and win the game. Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host flips that format on its head, with contestants having to contend with a pair of dueling hosts determined to deceive them at every turn. Comedians D.L. Hughley and Michael Ian Black, the hilarious, less-than-trustworthy hosts, each present the contestant with a bizarre and seemingly implausible fact, one of which is true and one of which is not. The contestant then must choose the true fact to be rewarded. Players who prove to be super-human lie detectors go home with a pocketful of cash.
