Daisy May Cooper has been confirmed for a hilarious new dating show with a group of big-name comedians called Dating No Filter. The This Country star will be joined by The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, Loose Women’s Judi Love, and Chunkz in the new Sky One Programme. Comedian Josh Widdecombe, Chewing Gum actress Susan Wokoma and Tom Allen will also be on hand to provide hysterical commentary while a number of singletons search for love.
Speaking about the new series, Daisy May explained: ‘I cannot tell you the amount of times Susie and I have been sat in Wetherspoons p****d on Pinot analysing other people’s cringey Tinder dates. Now we’re getting paid for it…..honestly can’t believe it.’
The programme will see pairs of singletons being sent out on a first date, although, it won’t just be a normal date because the likes of Daisy and Joel will be sharing their thoughts on it at the same time. The potential suitors will be treated to a series of activities to try to break the ice, ranging from axe throwing and ballroom dancing to pole dancing and a visit to a goat farm.
Judi went on to explain that she can’t wait to take part in the show, describing it as ‘new, fresh and engaging’. ‘I’m excited to join Dating No Filter because it’s real, you get to see dates and the running commentary at the same time,’ she added.
Susan continued: ‘It’s absolutely criminal to call laughing at dates with my closest pal Daisy, work! I can’t wait for everyone to watch us crying with hysterics at the weird world of dating.’ Further comedians announced include Munya Chawawa, Donna Preston and Verona Rose.
